Wow, what an incredibly hectic and fulfilling year we’ve had. This year has been a significant milestone for Snakehive, marked by numerous firsts and achievements and as the year draws to a close, we wanted to take a moment to reflect our achievement's. There’s a lot to cover, so we’ve kept this sweeping to highlight our standout moments from 2024 and to mark the occasion, we’re sharing it with you!

BLACK FRIDAY 2024
2024 has been an exciting and jam-packed ear for the Snakehive marketing department. We've had the opportunity to work on some of our most impactful campaigns yet, including new product innovations, seasonal promotions, and our first equity crowdfunding campaign. With so many highlights, it’s been a year full of memorable moments!
Choosing between them is a tough call, but this year, Black Friday steals the spotlight. Balancing a sales-heavy campaign with meaningful engagement is always quite the challenge during the most transactional-heavy periods of the year. The final quarter of the year is pivotal for the Snakehive brand, and our Black Friday campaign ensured we entered this period with a bang!

This year, we approached Black Friday from a different angle. As the pressure on retailers to meet fluctuating shopping demands continues to grow, seasonal elasticity becomes increasingly clear and nurturing this demand highlights a growing concern: overconsumption – the antithesis of our operating ethos. However, there's no denying the positive impact Black Friday has on businesses, including ours, but its how we approach this that helps us to remain transparent and faithful to our ethos in the process. We remain committed to encouraging thoughtful and responsible consumption habits and our
campaign this year reflected this promise; our inventory staying intentionally lean and aligned with genuine customer demand. We maintained healthy margins on our products to discourage over-purchasing and avoided the strain of overproduction. This is also why some of your favourite items may have sold out so quickly!
The visuals from this campaign have become a company favourite. With our newly expanded product range, our collection gave us great scope for product shots and graphics this Black Friday. Coupled with our fantastic Snakehive photographer, we executed some truly stunning and memorable creatives that we deposited throughout all our marketing collateral. a monumental milestone for snakehive
In April of this year, we teamed up with leading investment company, Republic (formerly Seedrs) to commence our first funding round on the platform, marking the very first time we have opened to external investment andwelcomed shareholders to be a part of our brand story and join our journey towards growth and community-driven success.
Our equity crowdfunding round allowed our customer community to invest for as little as £25 in exchange for shares in the business.

This venture provided us with something tangible to offer our amazing community of customers. By offering shares in Snakehive, we provided our loyal customers with the opportunity to actively participate andcontribute to our development. Our campaign ran for 8 weeks on the Republic platform, running into overfunding territory surpassing our initial target! We were absolutely blown
away by the response of our campaign – raising an impressive £102,431 from 148 investors! The positive response was not only a validation of our efforts but also a powerful reminder of the faith our community has in Snakehive. It became clear that our supporters believe in Snakehive just as passionately as we do.
